Heimtextil Show Jan 2017, Messe Frankfurt

This week my work for children's home-wares, textiles and fabric will be showcased at Heimtextil, Frankfurt thanks to the lovely Nerida Hansen who will be representing my work at the Kids Studio, alongside the work of other talented fellow artists you can have a look at their work here.

New Children's Pouches & Giveaway!

My Colorful Deep Sea Creatures Pouches are now available on my shop Gabote and to celebrate Gabote is running a Colourful Deep Sea Creature pouch giveaway! If you would like to enter just go to my Facebook page for more details. One lucky winner will be selected randomly by my daughter Elena by picking one name out of a box. * Last day to enter the giveaway is Sunday the 22nd of June, winner will be announced the next day.
The pouches have been digitally printed and originally hand painted at my London/based studio. They are sewn from 100% sturdy cotton twill. Fully lined in cotton linen fabric.

Colourful Deep Sea Creatures

Colourful Deep Sea Creatures is the name of the piece I have created for next week's Sheringdale Art Project Exhibition. Inspired by my love for the marine world, patterns, children's storytelling and picture books like Marea de Lletres by Susana del Baño and World Rat Day by J. Patrick Lewis and Anna Raff. This and all artworks sold will raise money for the Prince of Wales Children and the Arts Foundation. If you live in London do come along to the exhibition! (See details below)

Coloridas Criaturas de las Profundidades Marinas es el nombre de la pieza que he creado para la exposición del Proyecto de Arte de Sheringdale. Inspirada por mi amor al mundo marino, los estampados, cuentos y libros infantiles tales como Marea de Lletres por Susana del Baño y World Rat Day por J. Patrick Lewis and Anna Raff. Este y todos los trabajos vendidos servirán para recaudar fondos para el Prince of Wales Children and the Arts Foundation. ¡Si vives en Londres ven a la exhibición! (Ver detalles abajo)

Elena's 6th Birthday Party Invite: A playful Mochi Fabric project!

Elena just turned six so as her friend Ella. She is currently in love with the long haired Rapunzel princess story, in whom the invite is inspired. Rapunzel is actually coming to their Birthday party next Saturday.
Made with felt, recycled Kraft Paper, recycled board from a box, my Mochi fabric available at Modern Yardage, embroidery floss and Elena's pens : )

Mi pioja Elena acaba de cumplir seis años así como su amiguita Ella. Fascinada con uno de sus personajes de cuentos preferido: la princesa de pelo largo Rapunzel, en quien está inspirada la invitación y quien llegará a su fiesta de cumpleaños el próximo sábado. 
Hecha con fieltro, papel Kraft reciclado, cartón de caja reciclada, mi tela Mochi disponible en Modern Yardage, madeja y plumones de Elena : )
