Silk Scarves

This is the first of a series of unique silk patterned scarves designs inspired on vintage handkerchiefs. It has taken a few months to develop this project, the designs started as spontaneous drawings on one of my sketch books. I was so pleased with them that I decided to develop them into pattern designs which I then thought would look nice on scarves, and this is the result: a 105 cm square Silk Scarf - Originally hand painted design, made in Britain using eco-friendly inks on natural fiber fabric. 
I will officially be launching the designs in May at the Wimbledon Village Art & Design Fair on the 31st of May. Available now on Gabote shop which is offering free UK shipping until mother's day on the 30th of March using the code FORMUM2014

Esta es la primera de una serie única de bufandas de seda estampadas inspiradas en pañuelos vintage. Ha tomado algunos meses desarrollar este proyecto, los diseños empezaron como dibujos espontáneos en una de mis libretas de bocetos. Estaba tan contenta con ellos que decidí desarrollarlos en estampados los cuales pensé podrían verse bonitos en bufandas y he aquí el resultado: una bufanda de seda cuadrada x 105 cm, originalmente pintada a mano, hecha en Inglattera utilizando tintas eco-amigables y telas de fibras naturales. Oficialmente lanazaré estos diseños en Mayo en la Feria de Arte y Diseño de Wimbledon Village el 31 de mayo.
