The house I grew up in El Salvador

I want to dedicate this post to my gifted mother through this beautiful picture taken by my cousin at my parent's house in El Salvador during the Christmas season. Unfortunately this end of year I could not visit my homeland and the cozily decorated house where me and my two sisters grew up, which captures the skillful and artistic brush of my mother and where our artistic inheritance comes from.
Less than two years ago I had the pleasure to visit the Alhambra in Spain and felt completely transported to corners and rooms of this house and this picture, as someone aptly described it, is like an illustrated image of a storybook.

Quiero dedicar este post a mi talentosa madre a través de esta bella imagen tomada por mi prima en la casa de mis padres en El Salvador ahora que acaba de pasar la época navideña. Lastimosamente este fin de año no pude visitar mi terruño y la casa que nos vio crecer a mi y a mis dos hermanas, acogedormente ambientada por mi madre de quien indudablemente heredamos la brocha artística. Hace menos de dos años visite la Alhambra en España y me senti completamente transportada a rincones de esta casa y esta foto que como alguien acertadamente la describio, es como una imagen de ilustración de cuento.
