My daughter Elena enjoying the exhibition

I am finally back from the holidays in El Salvador - sorry that it's taken me a few days to get back into the weekly routine of blogging, but here I am again : ) On my return from the holidays, we decided to head over to the London's Fashion & Textiles Museum latest exhibition dedicated to Mexican textiles, their traditional Rebozos and its influence within art, culture and fashion - 'The classic Mexican shawl made famous in 20th century culture by artist Frida Kahlo'. The exhibition counted with unlimited inspiration for someone like me - passionate about colourful folk art, tales and textiles - as you can see above.

Sarah Campbell project for Marks & Spencer

Last week I had the pleasure to visit the Artists Textiles: Picasso to Warhol Exhibition at the Fashion and Textiles Museum in London. Some of the works were being exhibited for the first time to the public! It was very inspiring and interesting to see the work of such renowned artists applied on to textiles. Within the exhibition there was also a space dedicated to the work of sisters Sarah and Susan Campbell to mark the publication of the book The Collier Campbell Archive: 50 Years of Passion in Pattern, published by Ilex Press in December 2012.
