Sneak Peek: New Addition

Coming soon: sneak peek of my latest textile product, unique zipped bags for children made with my unique "Colourful Deep Sea Creatures" patterned illustration. I will be launching these at Wimbledon Village Art and Design Fair next Saturday 31st - they will soon be available on my Gabote online shop too. Originally watercolour hand-painted textile illustration, carefully printed and made in Britain.

Muy pronto: vistazo de mi más reciente producto textil - únicas bolsitas para niños hechas con mi ilustración estampada de las "Coloridas Criaturas de las Profunidades del Mar". Voy a estar lanzando éstas en la feria de arte y diseño de Wimbledon Village el próximo sábado 31 de mayo y muy pronto estarán también disponibles en mi tienda online Gabote. Ilustración textil originalmente pintada a mano con acuarelas, impresas y hechas cuidadosamente en Inglaterra.

New Profile Picture & Home Page Character

I am back to the blogging world after many weeks of being sick. I was operated last week due to an appendicitis. I am really thankful to my family, husband and friends, who have been so kind and supportive. I am very lucky to have them in my life! Before I was admitted at the hospital I was working on some projects, which I am going to share during the following days. But first of all I am sharing my new profile picture and a new female character that appears on the homepage of my website, to see it live, please visit www.gabrielalarios.com. Gabota has a new dress!

Let me introduce you to Gabota. Yes, from now on, that's her name. She likes fashion, (just as almost any woman on this planet), most of all dresses. So I decided to design one for her to wear on special occasions, it's not intended for everyday use though. It is called the Fishy Gala Dress, specially designed for aquatic environments, such as the marine world, where she lives. I think she likes it, I told her she looks veery pretty indeed!
